Our 41st "GIDEON SUNDAY"

The first Sunday of March is designated as "Gideon Sunday".
We host the GIDEONS and their families to thank them for their commitment, faithfulness and generosity,
to the work of printing and distributing the scripture around the world.

On "Gideon Sunday" we hear firsthand reports about the distribution of scripture around the world.
We hear (and often see pictures) about the travels, and the amenities arranged for the Gideon's in the various places they go.

We hear about Pastor's, congregations, school teachers, students, business leaders, families (sometimes including generations), government officials, tribal leaders, medical workers, patients, military personnel, guards, inmates, people of ALL nations, races, creeds and religions, and their responses, as the Gideon's offer them a free and personal copy of God's written Word.

The Country Chapel is blessed to present an annual donation to help distribute Bibles around the world.

The Gideon's apply 100% of all donations, to purchase and distribute Bibles.
No organizational, advertisement or travel expenses are ever used from donations.
Gideons International is an organization of Christian businessmen, whose purpose is to publish and distribute the Word of God, so that all people, all over the world, have the privilege of knowing the amazing truth, that;
